Tick tock, Day 273

Today was another day where the hours passed by so quickly and I was left at the end of it feeling a bit anxious about not having taken enough photos. Gerald is sick, so we drove to Walgreens to buy him some cold medicine and I happened to park the car in front of this sign. It made me laugh because it related so well (in my opinion) with yesterday's image.

Homeward bound, Day 264

Another night riding in the car and photographing (Gerald is driving). Sometimes riding in the car or taking the bus is the only time to sit and be still. A forced meditation on the road ahead. A place to think about the day ahead or what has occurred...or not.

Going home, Day 195

Today was my last day commuting to Denver to teach two intro photo classes. I had to stay late to finish grading and cleaning...it was a 12 hour day for me. I left my house while it was still dark in the a.m. and returned in the dark in the p.m.. I was really dreading my commute, but it turned into a lovely quite time to just sit and stare out the window or people watch. So I will actually miss the twice a week journey. Who would have thought!

Night, Day 172

There are parts of me that misses shooting film, like the element of surprise when a roll has just been developed. But I have found with digital that I am much more playful when I shoot because the results are immediate. Tonight I practiced walking and shooting at the same time.
